For this coming 2008 season, we are planning on continuing racing Class 6 in the Southern Baja Off Road Championship, however we will also be competing in the higher Class 8 Open.
Our more ambitious 2008 plans will embrace new vehicles for the team, as well as an additional team driver.

Continuing using the V8 FORD Explorer, ATRacing has also purchased the 2006 Class 6 Points Champion FORD Bronco, from previous owner Fili Diaz. Although an already proven vehicle In Class 6, ATRacing feels confident that with some suspension and design modifications, it will hold its own In Class 8.
We have also purchased a Ford Ranger Extended Cab Class 7, with a 4.0 twin cam motor, and are converting to a floating suspension, 4x4 Class 7 Race truck. This will be used primarily as a pre-run vehicle, however we are also waiting to see if the Mexican Automobile Racing Committee will host a National Off Road Championship, including races In Baja, Sinaloa, Nayarit & Jalisco , then with the aid of some National sponsorship, we are looking into the possibilities of participating in this Championship in Class 7.
As currently there are three different race series in Southern Baja, we are waiting for the promoters to figure out the 2008 schedule and offers to see where and when we will race. However, as always, our priority is to maximize exposure for our sponsors.
ATRacing are also proud to announce a new additional driver that will allow us to compete in this busy schedule of events, as Bert Tjeenk, will be joining Andrea Tomba behind the driver seat, and is also bringing his racing know how and enthusiasm as additional team assets.
